M. D. Payne
M.D. Payne was born into an Air Force family stationed around the US and Europe when he was a child. His first published work was “Creatures of the Night,” a short story which appeared in the Idaho Statesman when he was in the 9th grade. As an adult, he went on to pen the six-book humorous horror series, MONSTER JUICE, four editions of the WHO WAS? series, including What is the Story of Scooby-Doo?, and the Frankenstein edition of YOUR CLASSICS. YOUR CHOICES. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and two children, and works in the NYC metro area as a communications specialist for independent schools.
