Tess Thomas
Tess Thomas is an award-winning writer living in Hoboken, New Jersey. She started her storytelling career at the age of four, when she would dictate tales about her imaginary friends, Sami the cat and Doodie the dog, and send them to her grandparents. She loves french fries, her kids, and her husband (sometimes in that order).
Her first book, SHIBU’S TAIL, earned four starred reviews, multiple best-of-year lists, and has been published in over a dozen different languages. Tess’ favorite part of being an author is visiting schools, libraries, and bookstores to connect with young readers.
